Investigational 
• As for localized cancer, clinical protocols are studying combinations of surgery and radiation therapy , as well as
  radiation therapy alone for metastatic parathyroid cancer.
• A few patients with metastatic parathyroid cancer have been treated with chemotherapy combinations, 
  including the active agent dacarbazine (DTIC), as well as that agent combined with 5-fluorouracil and 
  cyclophosphamide . There are no current adjuvant treatment protocols for this tumor .
